It was too good an opportunity to miss…a long weekend (thank you to Queen Elizabeth) so it was off to Waiheke to enjoy some winter sunshine. Auckland looked majestic as we sailed away, so couldn’t resist a photo of the Sky Tower…and I wasn’t the only one admiring the view.

Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

  6. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own blog and was curious what all is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% certain. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

  12. Thanks for your write-up. Another element is that to be a photographer involves not only problem in taking award-winning photographs but in addition hardships in getting the best photographic camera suited to your requirements and most especially challenges in maintaining the standard of your camera. This is certainly very accurate and visible for those photography addicts that are straight into capturing a nature’s exciting scenes – the mountains, the actual forests, the actual wild or the seas. Going to these daring places certainly requires a digital camera that can meet the wild’s unpleasant conditions.
