Pink for a Day

Last weekend I also attended a fundraising event for the NZ Breast Cancer Research Foundation. It was a bit of a roller coaster afternoon, with some very brave women telling their own personal story’s. Story’s that were heart-wrenching to listen to but also so uplifting, as we were able to witness their strength and resolve to make others aware of tragedy of this disease, and to enforce that early detection is our best weapon in fighting the disease.
